Best Russian app!!!!

I am of Russian origin but ive never had time to learn it. :( But this app gives me new hope not to learn entirely but to get a good start, Im definetly buying the full version!!!!!

Nice program, easy to use

Well thought out study course with several learning options.

Ok

It has lots of words, but theres 1 problem..... I CANT READ RUSSIAN WRITING!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow

This app is impressive, and I have to say the spaced repetition feature is FANTASTIC. I havent yet found a faster way to memorize words. :) Its well worth trying and (as long as you understand Russian lettering) I promise you wont be disappointed. Now excuse me while I go ahead and buy the full version! :D

Good free app!

No ads, lets you practice without the internet. After trying this I got the full version since it works so well. Спасибо!

No translator

I just upgraded and I wish I hadnt. There was a translator on the old version which I used very often. It was very useful. But it doesnt exist on the new version. Is there a way to downgrade?

Only two stars...

Good app

Where is the audio?

Not very good...

When studying numbers, for instance, why list them alphabetically? People dont start to count from eight, eighteen, eighty, ..., four, etc. Hello and goodbye arent even in here. Only 132 words.

Wheres the sound?

Ive tried three different languages from this program and the audio doesnt work. That needs to be fixed.

Love it!

This is a wonderful FREE app!!! The audio works perfectly, which is helping me an immense amount when it comes to pronunciation.

Nice app, but not for kids.

I wish there would be an iPhone app teachig Russian to kids, just a simple bi-lingual two-sided flashcards with big good quality photos. Toddlers get bored with just type, it has to have a good visual. I would pay for that kind of app. Check the best rated English teaching flashcard apps. They do the job. Adults are not the only customers for a language learning.

Needs more

This needs idioms and phrases then Ill buy

Great intro to Russian vocab

Some reviewers say the audio does not work. It wont if the phone is set to silent mode. Flip the switch above the volume rocker, and youll have perfectly clear audio. Great app!

Pretty okay...

I like the idea of selecting your own lessons, but the audio could use some adjustments. My father knows some Russian and I asked him if you pronounced one word the way I heard it on this app and he told me I completely misheard! They should have an option where you can slow it down or break it into syllables. I also wish there were more catagories.

Not bad

As a native Russian speaker can tell that there is no grammar mistakes and words are read without any accent

Why u complaining

The audio works perfect for me I dont know what ur doing wrong but works flawlasly on my phone I have have another one of there apps also works perfect the audio is clearer than most other apps try editing ur settings

Overall okay

Overall an ok app for beginners but just too few words.should have more, the most basic ones...like conversational words, complement, and please fix ё.. Instead of using e.. Hope more words coming soon.. Also if possible, allow Russian speaker users to create their own flashcards n upload them..establish a system which other users could correct the words if they r wrong..Thank you.

Out of this world!

I love it! I recently went to Russia and I didnt speak Russian so I had to have my cousin translate for me. He and I both got tired of that. But then I found this app I was finaly able to talk to people and make friends. Thank you so much! Paca, Your International Friend

Good app, best free one I could find. However, it is lacking in a few areas: first off, it needs to automatically shuffle the flashcards when Ive finished going through them. It needs to be a little bit more accessible (whenever I want to change something, I have to navigate through a long series of actions, and then most of the time the thing I want to change isnt even there. The quiz needs to let you hear the word youre selecting, and maybe have a "next" button so you can make sure its the answer you wanted to give. I dont expect much from a free app, but I feel as though this could be much better if you fixed a few design flaws.
